Bio

Judith Klok is an embroidery artist of Dutch-German origin, currently based in Dieppe, France.
She moved to Paris in 2016 where she trained in embroidery at Ecole Lesage.

Following an internship in London in 2020, Judith knew she wanted to create art instead of fashion. A passion for writing and music naturally became part of her embroidery.
Curiosity turned cleaning up the local beach into creating intricate artworks out of ocean waste.

It became important to create work with materials and techniques used in Haute Couture, and incorporate collected landfill-bound materials; giving new purpose to waste.
All Judith's artworks are framed stories, reflections of her mind, heavily inspired by literary prose and lyrics.
